In Business Since 1957
In 1957, Diego Tarara decided to visit his uncle, Carl Caltagerone, in the United States. When he left his hometown of Aragona, he had no intention of staying permanently. Little did he know, his visit would change his life forever. During his time in the U.S., he met the love of his life, Antoinette, and this unexpected meeting set him on a path that would fulfill his lifelong dream of entering the construction business.

Diego made the decision to move to the U.S. for Antoinette, and they married in 1969. Later that year, Diego received an incredible offer to partner with Tony Staciones in AA Construction, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Diego had always wanted to work in construction, and Tony mentored him, eventually trusting him to run the business on his own.

Not long after Diego’s decision to stay in the U.S., his brother, Peter Tarara, joined the company. Peter became a partner in 1986, solidifying the family’s role in the business. In 2002, the next generation took over when Peter’s son, Sal, and Diego’s son, Anthony, purchased the company. Sal and Anthony continue to manage the day-to-day operations.
