AA Construction History

 In 1957, when Diego Tarara traveled from Aragona to visit his uncle Carl Caltagerone in the United States, he had no idea it would become a turning point. During this visit, he encountered Antoinette, and their romance led him to make the U.S. his new home. Their marriage in 1969 coincided with Diego's entry into the construction sector through a partnership with Tony Staciones, founding AA Construction—a venture that fulfilled his longtime aspiration.

This new beginning in the U.S. became a familial enterprise when Diego’s brother, Peter, joined the company and became a partner in 1986, further entrenching the family’s roots in the business. The entrepreneurial spirit did not stop with them; in 2002, the reins of AA Construction were handed over to the next generation, Peter’s son Sal and Diego’s son Anthony, who continues to lead the company with vigor and vision. Their leadership has ensured that AA Construction sustains its foundational values of hard work and integrity and continues to expand and innovate within the Rockford community, adapting to new market challenges and opportunities.
